To strengthen our team in Frankfurt, we are looking for a motivated working student in building physics as soon as possible.

Building physics is a tool for developing sustainable constructions, spaces, and buildings. In this sense, we pursue linking building physics and architecture more closely and provide advice early in the design process.

Your profile

  • Enrolled in a degree programme such as architecture, civil engineering, energy-optimised construction/physics or similar.
  • Interest in the interface between architecture and building physics
  • Good comprehension skills
  • Ability to work independently and good technical understanding
  • General interest in long-term cooperation
  • Ideal, but not a must: experience in the calculation of thermal bridges and basic knowledge of building construction, CAD/3D processing

Your tasks

  • Support in advising internationally renowned architectural offices on building physics in the competition and design phase
  • Supporting our planning team in the processing of building physics tasks such as the preparation of simulation models and calculations in heat, moisture, and sound insulation
  • 3D modelling
  • Support and creation of databases and presentations for building physics, research of materials and components
