Job description

Today, the design of the façade cannot be dissociated from the environmental and energy management of the building. In this context, the environmental project manager is expected to become a key element in the success of innovative projects in tune with our times.

You will be closely linked to the Building Physics department in Frankfurt and have direct contact with our clients, architects, contractors and developers.

You will be in charge of environmental projects, from the design phase to the follow-up of the works, in autonomy. In particular, you will develop the environmental, climate and comfort aspects of façade projects.

You will be in charge of the organisation of environmental work within the office: technical and financial management and prospecting.

You will conduct studies of bioclimatic design, optimisation of envelopes and comfort (light, solar gain, heat, hygrometry, natural ventilation, etc.), and energy design. The mastery of the aspects and impacts of environmental certifications (HQE, BREEAM, LEED) is appreciated.

During your mission, you will be responsible for preparing and negotiating project proposals and contracts, managing and monitoring them throughout the project (progress, contractual and financial commitments, etc.), and advising collaborators, managers and employees on the implementation of the project. Profile

  • Master 2 or engineering school specialises in designing sustainable built environments with high energy and environmental performance.
  • Five years of professional experience in the construction/design of sustainable buildings as a senior engineer and project manager.

Required qualities

  • Mastery of computer tools specialised in sustainable construction. Knowledge of advanced presentation tools (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop...) is appreciated.
  • Popularising technical subjects and pedagogy are also essential qualities for these exchanges.
  • You have a team spirit; you are creative, curious and eager to learn continuously.
  • Organisation, rigour, the ability to assimilate and develop innovative solutions, and the ability to build simulation tools are among the required qualities.
  • Experience in programming is appreciated.
  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of facades is appreciated.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French. Knowledge of English and German is appreciated.
