The project consists of partially renovating and extending the Chartreuse de Neuville-sous-Montreuil (62, France) to construct the European Cultural Meeting Centre. The planned new building is a ground-floor building with no basement and a floor area of approximately 40m by 39m, i.e. about 1,560 m². The ground floor is partial, and most of the ground floor is double height. The rectangular roof covers the whole project, overhanging the opaque programmatic boxes that slide underneath, encircling the main multi-purpose hall. The opaque elements house offices. The project is connected to the south to the existing buildings, which have been partly renovated (filling in of hoppers, openings for circulation, etc.)
