Amid the South of Leipzig the administration building of the KPMG trust company is located on a acute-angled site between Beethovenstraße and Peterssteinweg. The glazed atrium is open for the public. The offices situated along the interior elevation required a transparent façade to the Beethovenstraße, which at the same time provides the vertical circulation of the building and footbridges connecting the office wings.

A hybrid structure was developed, the elements of the construction performing different load bearing functions. The glazing consists of point-fixed frameless glass panels which are suspended from steel cables. The horizontal lateral stability is provided by footbridges transferring the loads into the reinforced concrete structures. The stairs connecting the individual footbridges are supported by these, suspended from a tie rod in the staircase well.
