Construction of a new footbridge and cycle bridge over the Lysaker River, which will provide a main link for pedestrians and cyclists between Lysaker station and Lilleaker. The bridge will be connected to the existing infrastructure and positioned to complement the existing historic retaining walls and dam structures.
The bridge is designed as a Corten steel box girder bridge with a length of approx. 31 m, of which the longest section is approx. 12.7 m. In plan, the bridge has a bend where a distinctive portal forms a viewing point. The deck will be clad in timber. The bridge will be universally designed.
