The façade, which was completed at the end of the 1980s and extended about 10 years ago by extensions and additions, no longer meets today's energy requirements of modern buildings. In addition, the aging façade has usability problems in several areas that need to be addressed. In order to create a decision-making basis for the further handling of the building envelope, the client has decided to have the inventory survey and analysis done by B+G.
On this basis various variants for the renovation of the façades are developed within a subsequent feasibility study, which on the one hand have the technical and economic effort for retrofitting, conversion and demolition measures in focus, on the other hand suggest ways and technical solutions to the building operation in the future in order to make it more sustainable and more economical. The goal here is besides the careful handling of the award-winning project of course also to ensure the user's needs for comfort and daylight comfort.
