The Landessportbund Hessen has built a two-storey, three-field sports hall at its Frankfurt site. The entire structure of the new building consists of the two-storey hall body and a side wing, which is located in front of the hall on the long side and forms the transition to the existing building.

Bollinger+Grohmann was responsible for the structural engineering and the preparation of preservation of evidence and building condition documentation within the scope of the new construction of the three-field sports hall of the Landessportbund.

The roof structure of the upper hall is planned as a light wooden structure, and the supporting structure of the lower hall is formed by 1.80 m high reinforced concrete girders with a spacing of 3.75 m.

The foundation of the hall and the ancillary wing is made with strip foundations running around under the outer walls of the hall and an elastically bedded floor slab inside the hall as well as under the ancillary wing and the single-storey basement with a training area.
