The modular Verd° Unit greening system is specifically aimed at nurseries, schools, and public outdoor areas. The free-standing structures can be flexibly combined and equipped with edible plants and shade providers, for example. Additional elements, such as timber platforms, hammocks, or seating areas, can be used as play areas or quiet zones. The first modules were installed in the outdoor area of a nursery school in Ladenburg.
The structure consists of solid timber elements made of untreated larch and reversible steel connections. This makes it easy to erect and, if necessary, dismantle again. Depending on the location, the structure is secured using point, screw or surface-mounted foundations.
