Port of Offenbach - Bridge to the Island (Competition)

Together with architect Marie-Theres Deutsch, a proposal was submitted for the evaluation of a bridge to Offenbach Island. The team decided to create a clear and simple bridge design. The structure is a thin band of concrete that is light and elegant. It also plays with the perspective of the Frankfurt skyline. The result in cross-section is a prestressed concrete box girder with footpaths and cycle paths on both sides.
