The project is being developed on a concentration camp site in the Grand-Est region, which became the "European Centre of Deported Resistance Members" in 2005 with the help of the architect Pierre-Louis Faloci. The site's rehabilitation includes constructing a workshop and storage area.

The building is a wooden superstructure with transverse portals consisting of glulam posts and trusses. The portals are hinged at the foot and head. The gable frame consists of posts of varying heights hinged at the foot and head. At the head, the posts are connected to a continuous edge beam and crenellated around the purlins running through the gable. The porticos are triangulated with a horizontal top rail between the columns. Bracing is provided by the roof, acting as a diaphragm in the transverse and longitudinal directions.

The façade is made of edge-to-edge glass, with tinted, curved, laminated and tempered glass.
