VERD°FACADE

VERD°FACADE is the version of the VERD°System designed for greening industrial halls, public buildings, office blocks and residential buildings. The goal was to minimise the number of horizontal fixing or penetration points typically required on façades and to ensure that additional loads on the structure at the top and bottom points are kept as low as possible.

During the initial development phase, various structural systems were considered and analysed as part of a comparative study. The first modules were installed in 2024 on the façade of a data centre operated by Equinix in Frankfurt. Therefore, a kinematic cable system was developed that is stabilised solely by the plant trough’s own weight.
