Web(s) of Life is the new exhibition by Studio Tomás Saraceno, which includes several works exhibited at the Serpentine Galleries in London, including a 5m-high sculpture made up of juxtaposed identical polyhedra, the modules of which are covered with sheets of wood to create spaces ready to house all kinds of animals (dogs/cats/birds, etc.).

The artwork is balanced on two polyhedras. These are made from welded stainless steel plates, which give them their shape, and then they are welded together again to create clusters, all bolted together on site.

B+G carried out the structural engineering work, including parametric design and optimisation and structural and assembly calculations.
