Formula One was the main topic of the BMW trade fair presentation, with the central attributes dynamics, speed, acceleration and technical high-performances. For the implementation computer simulated energy fields were created and generated from a spiral fog around a rotating energy centre. Along the wave which staggers from the top floor to the ground, the BMW vehicles from race cars to series vehicles were displayed.

The lattice was directly derived from the surface curvatures of the force field simulation. All biaxial beams were digitally manufactured with CNC-milled stainless steel joints. The lattice beams comprising aluminium extrusion sections were connected to the edge beams of the steel structure with ball joints. In order to connect the lattice sections to each other, joints were mounted to the grooves of the aluminium sections.
