Architecture Festival: Turn On

On Friday, 13 March, our colleague Anna Heimrath participated in the TURN ON TALK titled ‘Künstliche Intelligenz in der Architektur’ (‘Artificial Intelligence in Architecture’) at the TURN ON Architecture Festival in Vienna.

Framed by this year’s theme, ‘Kreative Dissonanzen’ (‘Creative Dissonances’), the festival highlighted innovative and experimental perspectives on contemporary architecture. In this context, the discussion explored emerging AI applications in design, the growing role of data-driven tools in shaping technical and organisational processes, and their broader impact on architectural thinking and production.

The panel included perspectives from various fields related to architecture. Alongside Anna Heimrath, the discussion featured Matias del Campo (SPAN, Vienna | Visiting Professor, TU Wien), Martin Josst (Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, Vienna), and Johann Marchner (Wienerberger Österreich). The talk was moderated by Arian Lehner, editor-in-chief of architektur.aktuell.
