20 January 2026
The exhibition ‘Verloren & Geborgen – Ein virtueller Spaziergang durch verlorene Ingenieurbaukunst’ (‘Lost & Found – A Virtual Walk Through Lost Engineering Heritage’) will take place from 12 February to 8 March 2026 in Berlin.
Accompanied by expert talks and panel discussions featuring our colleagues Angela Feldmann and Christoph Gengnagel, the exhibition marks the launch of the Digital Museum of Engineering Heritage and offers new perspectives on engineering culture across past, present, and future.
Based on extensive archival research, historically significant engineering structures that no longer exist have been digitally reconstructed and presented as immersive VR experiences. The virtual journey is complemented by archival materials, creating a dialogue between digital reconstruction and physical heritage.

Where: Bauakademie, Red Hall, Schinkelplatz, Berlin
