Groundbreaking Ceremony Stephanitorhöfe
In Bremen’s ‘Überseestadt’, the former ‘Kellogg site’ is being transformed into a new urban quarter. The ‘Stefanitorhöfe’ complex – a large-scale mixed-use development by ROBERTNEUN Architects – is already under construction. Following the completion of the second basement level and a ground slab of approx. 7,500 m² for the first basement, the project marked its official groundbreaking ceremony last week.
In the coming months, the building will primarily be constructed in in-situ concrete up to the ground floor. From the first to the fifth floor, most of the structure will be realised as a hybrid system with a precast reinforced concrete skeleton and timber floor slabs.
