Inauguration of Triplex
Triplex, the new sports complex in Lille’s Saint-Sauveur district, was officially inaugurated in the presence of Lille Mayor Arnaud Deslandes, the architects from bureau faceB and guests.
The 2,300 m² building stacks three sports facilities vertically: a multipurpose hall on the ground floor, a dojo on the intermediate level and a multisports hall on the upper floor. The building combines a prefabricated concrete structure with timber and steel elements. The upper sports hall is covered by four inverted timber vaults, whose geometry integrates natural lighting while limiting direct glare. Designed to meet the Passivhaus standard, the project also required close coordination between the structure, envelope and environmental requirements.
We were responsible for the structure and façade engineering, working alongside bureau faceB and the project team from design through construction.
