Publication in progress: ‘WOOD. Change the present. Build the future.’

After one year of research on timber structures, Bollinger+Grohmann and Park Associati are working on a publication to collect all the information. How did we get the results of our study on wood? We combined our expertise through the applied exercise of re-engineering!

Milan is the first Italian city to adopt a plan for limiting the building's impact on the climate crisis. Following the ‘PTG (Territorial Zoning Plan) of Milano 2030’ direction of the municipality, we worked with Park Associati on necessary solutions to be used in highly polluting sectors such as the construction industry. Building with timber is the answer for reshaping a very traditional sector, and, in the case of Milano, it can be the first step of a new way of intending architecture.
