Publication: ‘Kompendium Nachhaltige Bauwerke - Hochbauten’
Our colleagues Agnes Weiland and Angela Feldmann together with Markus Hennecke, Peter Mayer, Andreas Mendler and Simone Stürwald wrote an article titled ‘Nachhaltigkeit durch Tragwerksplanung’ (‘Sustainability Through Structural Engineering’) in the newly released ‘Kompendium Nachhaltige Bauwerke - Hochbauten’ (‘Compendium of Sustainable Buildings – Building Structures’). Published by Springer Vieweg, the series brings together interdisciplinary expertise to address sustainability throughout the entire life cycle of buildings, incorporating perspectives from clients, planners, constructors, users, and operators. Each chapter defines and explains specific services, stakeholder viewpoints, and real-world examples, creating a comprehensive knowledge base covering ecological, social, design, and economic aspects.
