On Friday, 2 June 2023, the ‘Generations – Perspectives in Computational Design’ symposium will take place at MAK - Museum für angewandte Kunst in Vienna. The event, organised with I oA, Institute of Architecture of the University of Applied Arts Vienna, gathers practitioners and theoreticians with different experiences and viewpoints on computational design to discuss digital technologies' societal legacy and future.
Among the speakers is Clemens Preisinger, whose talk ‘History of the Parametric Finite Element Toolkit Karamba3D’ will focus on developing the software and its many uses in projects.
