Timber Construction Coference: Eastwood Leipzig
On 1–2 October 2026, the EASTWOOD ‘Holzbau-Fachtagung Leipzig‘ (‘Timber Construction Conference Leipzig‘) will bring together experts from planning, construction, industry, research, and education to discuss current developments and new perspectives in digital timber construction.
As part of the programme, our partner and managing director Simon Ruppert will deliver a lecture titled ‘Tragwerksplanung darf brennen’ (‘Structural engineering may burn’) on 1 October at 13:00. Based on a range of projects, he will examine how courage, diversity, and openness throughout the design, planning, and construction process can contribute to innovative spaces from a structural engineering perspective.
