Topping-Out Ceremony ‘Grüner Hügel’
On 23 October, we had the pleasure of attending the topping-out ceremony for the so-called ‘Grüner Hügel’ in Mannheim. We are collaborating on this project with MVRDV architects and are responsible for the structural engineering and building physics.
The building stands out with its distinctive geometry and clearly articulated structure: a green, sculpted plateau accommodating a supermarket and a drugstore, topped by a slender residential building. Given the variety of uses, everyone was proud of the excellent cooperation between the teams that led to such a remarkable result.
