WON: Jury Grand Prize at the Designverse Awards

Designed by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, the greenhouse complex is located on the site of the former World Expo and forms part of Shanghai’s broader vision to transform central urban land into a vibrant, green cultural zone. 

Bollinger+Grohmann provided the structural engineering for this landmark project, which features a series of organically shaped greenhouses integrated into the existing structure of a repurposed factory hall. The complex combines architectural ambition with ecological performance and meets the standards of a zero-energy building.
