The team led by Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos has been selected to transform the public spaces of the Opéra Bastille in Paris, and we are part of it!
Part of the Opera National de Paris's “Nouvelle Ère, Nouvel Air” programme, the project will transform nearly 5,000 m² of public spaces within Carlos Ott’s 1989 building. The proposal introduces a new transparent glass envelope and rethinks the entrances and foyers, creating a stronger connection between the Opéra, the Place de la Bastille and the city. We will provide the team with our structure and façade engineering expertise for the project.
