Deichman Bjørvika on Norwegian Stamp

Hot off the press: On 02 February 2026, Deichman Bjørvika was immortalized as one of three architectural motifs on Norway’s new postage stamps. We consider ourselves already fortunate to have participated in the development of the building's characteristic folded concrete roof structure and are accordingly honoured to discover it now on an actual stamp. We congratulate Atelier Oslo, Lund Hagem Arkitekter and the city of Oslo on this special occasion.
The new series showcases Norwegian architecture that uses ceilings as a defining architectural feature. The first three stamps in the series depict Deichman Bjørvika in Oslo, Kunstsilo in Kristiansand, and Čoarvemátta in Kautokeino. Together, they represent landmark buildings from the east, south, and north of Norway.
