Glasstec Düsseldorf
Réflexions, the monumental glass installation by Atelier Emmanuel Barrois, is on display in a new configuration at glasstec 2026 in Düsseldorf, as part of glass technology live in Hall 11.
We contributed structural engineering expertise throughout three years of research and development, exploring the potential of glass as a load-bearing material and developing an innovative assembly system. The installation also highlights the possibilities of adaptability and reuse. Discover the installation and discuss the engineering behind the project with our colleagues Frank Tarazi and Tim Prinz.
On 21 October at 14:10, our colleague Dominik Misztal, together with Christian Popp from TU Dresden, will also give a presentation on ‘KonGlas LCA – Configurator for Dynamic Parametric Life Cycle Analysis of Glass Façade Systems’. They will give a second talk on 22 October at 11:25.
