Pavillon zum Literaturfest

The temporary pavilion built at Hauptwache was a recognizable feature of the 2006 Frankfurt am Main Literature Festival. The design is characterized by timber panels that fold to form the walls, roof, and folding doors. The individual formwork panels were connected using rod hinges, and the roof elements and floor sections were screwed to the wall panels using threaded rods and corresponding fastening elements.
